About The Team

“Respect your fellow human beings, treat them fairly, disagree with them honestly, enjoy their friendship, explore your thoughts about one another candidly, work together for a common goal and help one another achieve it.”

Meet The Team

By combining our specialist skills, the individuals at Blueridge Flooring come together to achieve exceptional results.

An engineer by trade, Peter Bonsall began his career working for a Canadian mill in the 1990s, contracting wood floors in the UK into Wickes and Screwfix. Peter’s passion was always in timber’s aesthetic potential and this led Peter to seek out designers who shared his enthusiasm for higher specification solutions, ultimately setting up his own workshop to fill the gap in the market. 20 years later, Blueridge has become one of the UK’s most respected producers of bespoke hardwood flooring and joinery.

Passionate about design, Pamela Bonsall is our client services director, translating client briefs into breath-taking realities. Pamela leads our team of craftsmen and installers as the creative force in the business, serving as the key client contact as a project comes to life. Pamela is a lifelong equestrian, a daughter of deepest Shropshire and a mother of two.

With a wide breadth of experience in contract sales, Lewis Edwards is a welcome addition to our team and is tasked with developing our key accounts and driving forward our marketing strategy.  Lewis says he loves to cook in his spare time. He’s also an avid West Brom supporter.

With many years’ previous experience of running his own building services business and managing a shop-fitting operation, Andy Boden joined us as operations manager in June 2014, bringing valuable planning and project management expertise. As well as making client dreams a reality, Andy is also a heavy metal enthusiast and a keen birder. But not at the same time.

phil evans

Phil Evans has many strings to his bow and heads up our financial strategy, keeping us all in check. Phil enjoys travel and a good cuppa.

jim benjamin

Jim Benjamin has been employed by the family for over forty years and runs a tight ship in our workshops.  He enjoys a quiet life in the Shropshire countryside with his lovely little terrier, Sally.

Anthony Elcock

Anthony joined us in 2015 and began his baptism of fire as an installer on a large commercial site.  This dramatic introduction to the trade served as a great beginning for Anthony and he has quickly become an invaluable member of the team. He is happy to share his experience with our up and coming installers and is a genuinely brilliant craftsman.

Mitch brings a lifetime of joinery experience to Blueridge. As a cabinet maker, he has an incredible eye for detail and is a huge asset when it comes to translating our clients aspirations into reality. A man with boundless energy, Mitch enjoys a little quiet time at the weekend with his family.

Jake Bucknell

Jake is a relatively new addition to the team and is shaping up to be a really good installer.  A great find, he has a passion for delivering the best possible outcomes and is keen to learn new skills. He is a muso at heart and has an interesting collection of trainers.

Phil is a finishing wizard in our workshops and never settles for less than perfect when it comes to his work. Being a neat freak, Phil does a great job of keeping the workshop shipshape. He is a keen angler in his spare time and enjoys the solitude of a riverbank.

Les Elcock

Being the younger brother of Anthony Elcock, we had high expectations when Les started at Blueridge, and we’ve not been disappointed. He has the same attention to detail and is a very quick learner.  Les enjoys the weekends and we’ve heard he’s quite the social animal.

To ensure perfect delivery on every project, we run teams of highly trained site installers, all of whom are local to us and take great pride in representing the company across the UK and Europe. Our teams follow high standards, running full pre-installation checklists, site readiness surveys and completion certificates, completing all QC and H&S paperwork. All of our site staff have CSCS cards and we do not employ on a contract basis. We are also investing in the next generation of artisans, with each of our lead fitters responsible for an apprentice on their team. We support external specialist training too – most recently at a sanding and sealing course with a well known finishing supplier.
